Tesla announced on Tuesday that voters of its upcoming annual shareholder meeting can win a tour of the Giga Texas factory.
Scheduled for June 12, the day before the meeting, the visit will count with the participation of the chief executive Elon Musk, the VP Design Franz von Holzhausen and other executives.
“Tour the Cybertruck and Model Y manufacturing lines with Elon Musk and other Tesla executives with a private group of stockholders on June 12th, the day before the Annual Stockholders’ Meeting,” the company announced.
Tesla added that voters selected “will also have a reserved seat at the Annual Stockholders’ Meeting on June 13”.
In a new SEC filing last week, eight shareholders filed a form with the SEC urging the voting against Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s compensation plan and also on the reelection of Kimbal and James Murdoch to the board.
The shareholders claim that Tesla is “suffering from a material governance failure which requires our urgent attention and action”.
The form was signed by eight shareholders including Amalgamated Bank, AkademikerPension, Nordea Asset Management, New York City Comptroller Brad Lander, SHARE, SOC Investment Group, UNISON, and the United Church Funds.
