Shanghai-based Nio announced on Thursday that it will release its second-quarter earnings results on September 5, before U.S. markets open. The results will be followed by the earnings conference call which is scheduled to start at 8:00 AM Eastern Time.
In the second quarter of the year, the company led by William Li delivered 57,373 units, a year-over-year growth of 143.90%.
Last month, the electric vehicle maker delivered 20,498 vehicles, including 11,964 SUVs and 8,534 sedans. The company will deliver the first vehicles from Onvo, its first sub-brand, in late September.
The price of Onvo L60, the SUV that aims to tackle the Model Y customer base, will be unveiled at the launch event scheduled for September 19, as reported by EV.
The result represents an increase of 0.17% year over year and a decline of 3.3% from June, when the company reached a new record delivering 21,209 units.
