South Korean automaker Kia unveiled its new fully electric model, the EV4, on Monday. The model, available in both sedan and hatchback variants, is the latest addition to Kia’s expanding EV lineup.

The EV4 will make its official debut at Kia’s annual EV Day in Spain on February 24, with full product details set to be revealed three days later. Kia has not yet disclosed which markets will receive the new model.

The company described the EV4 as featuring an “aerodynamic design with a low hood, fastback profile, and unique roof spoiler.”

“Offering a fresh take on the sedan, the EV4 sedan features a sleek, low nose and long-tail silhouette. The EV4 hatchback is a nimble, versatile all-rounder. Distinctive and clean, it is built to excel in any situation,” said Karim Habib, Kia’s executive vice president of design.

Kia’s EV6 and EV9 models have recently remained eligible for U.S. federal subsidies, while Hyundai’s Ioniq 5, Ioniq 9, and the Genesis GV70 Electrified were removed from the latest list update.

The company announced last September it would begin offering North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapters for its electric vehicles (EVs) starting early this year. Adaptors started being shipped two weeks ago, but access to Tesla’s supercharger network is expected to happen in the final weeks of the quarter.

For certain models, Kia has integrated the NACS charging port into new electric vehicles sold in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
