Tesla showcased on Friday the capabilities of Full Self-Driving (FSD) in Germany making it the official debut of the software in Europe.
Rikard Fredriksson, an official from the Swedish Transport Transportation, shared details on the experience saying the 45-minute drive in Munich, Germany, has required only one intervention from the driver.
“We traveled for 45 minutes from the center of Munich to the airport, and the driver had to intervene once when the car next to us refused to let us merge when two lanes merged.” Below is the full video posted on Facebook.

In a previous post on LinkedIn, Fredriksson had previously commented on the test by saying it was an “impressive smooth and natural driving” in the German city of Munich.
Tesla started this Sunday the release of the FSD (supervised) version 12.3.6 to its owners in the United States and Canada.
Elon Musk landed earlier today in Beijing, China, to meet with the country’s Premier Li Qiang as rumors of an FSD-related announcement increase. Tesla CEO had recently posted that the company may soon offer full self-driving software to customers in China by saying “It may be possible very soon”.

While answering a question in the last earnings call, Elon Musk said Tesla is talking to one major automaker and there’s “a good chance” the company will sign the first deal before year-end. However, Musk warned that the other automaker would probably need at least three years to integrate it into their car.
Tesla has recently reduced the pricing of the software in the US from $12,000 to $8,000, and in Canada from CA$16,000 to $11,000. This price reduction followed a 50 percent cut in the subscription fee announced on April 12.
