Registrations of the Guangzhou-headquartered carmaker XPeng reached 7,200 units between November 18 and 24, data shared on Tuesday by the new energy vehicle (NEV) maker Li Auto showed.

In the second week of November, the company led by Xiaopeng He had matched its best week ever with over 6,000 vehicles. The result was now surpassed by the latest figures as the company continues to ramp up production of its two strongest models — the entry level sedan Mona M03 and the recently launched lagship sedan P7+.

Tesla’s registrations saw a slight decrease to 16,700 units while the Nio group, which includes also the sub-brand Onvo, registered 5,300 vehicles.

XPeng is expected to reach a new monthly delivery record in November after having delivered. Earlier this week, the company delivered the 20,000th unit of its MPV model X9.

For the fourth quarter of 2024, the company expects vehicle deliveries to range between 87,000 and 91,000 units, representing a year-over-year increase of approximately 44.6% to 51.3%.

Given that the company delivered 23,917 units in the first month of the current quarter, XPeng’s guidance implies that the brand expects to deliver between 65,648 and 69,648 vehicles in November and December combined.

Last week, the company’s founder and CEO Xiaopeng He said that monthly production capacity for the Mona M03 model will reach 20,000 units by the Chinese New Year, which takes place between January 28 and February 4.
