China’s new energy vehicle (NEV) maker Li Auto announced on Tuesday that its cumulative sales have surpassed one million units with its SUV L7 as the top seller accounting for 25% of its sales.
The Beijing-based carmaker is the first Chinese NEV startup to reach this milestone, achieving it just 58 months (less than five years) after launching its first model in November 2019.
The company started deliveries of its debut model, the Li One, in 2019 and has delivered 210,000 units over the last five years.
In a new social media post, the company detailed delivery figures for its other popular models: the flagship Li L9 SUV has surpassed 230,000 units, the Li L8 has delivered over 200,000 units, the Li L7 has exceeded 250,000 units, and the recently launched Li L6 has already reached 150,000 units since its release in April.
The company achieved strong delivery growth in October, delivering over 51,400 vehicles—a 27% increase year-on-year and the second-highest monthly total in its history, trailing only September’s record 53,709 deliveries.

For the first ten months of the year, Li Auto delivered 393,255 vehicles.

As of the end of October, the NEV maker had 475 retail centers across 144 cities in China. Its after-sales network includes 444 service centers and authorized body and paint facilities covering 223 cities.
The company also operates 1,004 proprietary supercharging stations across the country, with a total of 4,910 charging piles.
In its latest financial results, Li Auto reported third-quarter revenue of 42.9 billion yuan ($6.1 billion), marking a 23.6% year-on-year increase and a 35.3% rise compared to the second quarter of 2024. Vehicle deliveries for the quarter surpassed 150,000 units for the first time, underscoring the company’s rapid growth trajectory.
